The best of the rest is the trip sevens. If a player holds all five cards of a suit, he or she wins the pot. These cards are sometimes used in the showdown. Other varieties of the game have a slightly more elaborate display, including a multi-pack version of the same card.

Lastly, there is the showdown. This is a show of hands in which each player’s hand is revealed. This is only possible if there is a caller in the final round of betting. All players must show their hand, but only those who contribute to the pot are eligible to win.
